1402咖啡店項目地址位于秦皇島阿那亞社區(qū)內西門通往海邊的主路一側，原來是海邊市集旁原有的坡屋頂紅磚建筑，現(xiàn)在被設計師分為室內和室外擺區(qū)兩部分。
Situated on the main road to the coast near thewest gate of Aranya community, the 1402 project is a coffee shop built into anexisting red brick architecture with sloping roof. The architectural conceptbehind the renovation embraces the juxtaposition of the old and the new. Therenovation includes two parts: the interior space and outdoor seating space.

咖啡店室內部分，設計師希望打破傳統(tǒng)咖啡館公共大空間的布局方式，將客座,等候區(qū),手沖吧臺,景觀,產(chǎn)品展示等功能結合而成一個新的咖啡體驗“盒子”插入到原有建筑之中，把原本一覽無余的空間進行了分隔，形成更加多變的咖啡體驗空間。茶色混凝土盒子從紅磚建筑的臨街立面延伸而出，賦予了原本規(guī)則的建筑外立面新的視覺焦點，激發(fā)客人進入探尋的好奇心。
Within the interior space, we insert a new volumeinto the existing building. The rectangular box forms a new cafe experiencethat integrates the functional needs of seating, waiting area, pour over bar,display and landscape, while dividing the open space to offer guests a varietyof spatial experience. The pigmented Dagu cement box extends to thestreet-facing facade of the red brick building, which defines a new visualfocus for the originally dull facade, arousing the curiosity of guests toexplore in the space.

咖啡館外立面以通透的大玻璃為主，面向廣場一側的電動折疊門及面向外擺區(qū)的折疊窗，在室外天氣宜人的時候都可以完全打開，讓室內外連通增加互動。而核心部分的“盒子”則劃分為大小不一的半私密座位和空間。無論客人是希望獨處，或是幾位好友一同前來，在這里都可以找到人與人之間合適的距離。

The core zone ofthe box is divided into semi-private seating and spaces with different scales.The spatial strategy promises comfortable sense of scale for guests from thosewho want to be alone to a couple of close friends.

不同于一般咖啡店意式吧臺和手沖吧臺一體的形式，在1402咖啡店中茶色水泥“盒子”的中心，還隱藏這一個獨立的手沖吧臺。想要安靜地體驗手沖咖啡的客人，可以到這個盒子中的手沖吧臺享受咖啡，抑或是和咖啡師單獨交流，不會受到外界的打擾。

外擺區(qū)部分，以十字形的大古席地材質通道平臺連通了各個方位，同時將外擺區(qū)劃分為兩大兩小四個區(qū)域。外擺區(qū)的固定家具材質都選擇了和室內中心盒子一樣的茶色水泥，加強了室內外的整體性和關聯(lián)性。
The cross-shaped outdoor platform helps maintain avisual continuity between indoor and outdoor, meanwhile dividing the outdoorseating into four areas. The fixed furniture of the exterior is made of thesame pigmented Dagu cementwith the interior cafe box, which strengthens the integrity and continuity ofthe interior and exterior.

設計師利用室外固定家具中高低不一的矮墻，坐臺，桌子，吧桌增加了外擺區(qū)的圍合感和空間的層次。地面的水洗石材質也增添了庭院的感覺。
We strategically arrange outdoor partition wallswith different heights, seating, tables and bar tables to create a sense ofspatial enclosure and dynamic layering of space. In addition, the lightgrey exposed aggregate concrete forthe exterior floors presents a soft and natural atmosphere of outdoorcourtyard.
